Photo shot in Oakland California today.
This shot was taken on the cliffs of Jenner California, a coastal town north of San Francisco. We were on a cliff above the ocean, the sun was setting, they had just gotten married. What else could you ask for? I love being a wedding photographer.
And just to round things off, here a few other photos from that set.

Below is a video slideshow of some of my favorite shots from Gary and Rose’s wedding. I shot Gary and Rose’s wedding in Yosemite National Park in 2008. (I shoot a lot of Yosemite weddings. I’m an official Yosemite wedding photographer)
Their wedding was at Glacier Point. There were a lot of fires that week, so the visibility was horrible.
As I posted earlier, Rose wore a brilliant red wedding dress. As you can see, they are Native American, and incorporated that heavily into their ceremony. (I love seeing all of the different wedding ceremonies from cultures the world over in my job.)
To make up for the lack of visibility at Glacier Point, we stopped in a lovely meadow. I’ve passed the meadow over 100 times, I was glad to stop there for a change. It’s so pretty.
I hope you enjoy the video sideshow. The song is “Where I’m Standing” by Schuyler Fisk.

This is a test. I can post to my blog from my phone. Can I also post a photo? Let’s find out.
I can! I can post photos! This is so cool.
The three photos I picked I shot in Piedmont last year. I love these shots. There is something about the lens flare, the creek, the girls playing. These photos turn of the words in my head when I’m looking at them. To me, that is something that good art can do.
This is one of the best photos of dancers I’ve ever taken. They are professional dancers, but the moment was un-posed. As a photographer, I believe firmly in the critical moment, and in this case I am sure I captured it.
