Flower Girl Dancing on Groom's feet

In this case, the girl dancing on a man’s feet is the flower girl dancing on the groom’s feet. The reason I love this shot is that it could be any girl on any man. Father/daughter, brother/sister, uncle/niece (in this case it is new uncle in law and niece. The flower girl was the bride’s niece.)

1 year old girl dancing at a 60th birthday party in San Diego California

This past weekend, my I flew down to San Diego to shoot a 60th birthday party. With the trip south, I’m a bit behind on my blogging, but I wanted to get this photo up ASAP.

The subject of the photo is just over 1 year old. She was dancing to live music.

I’d also like to take a minute here to offer a shout out to a buddy of mine. Robert is a photographer and videographer whom I’ve known since I was still shooting film.

He is now running a website called Your Bridal Planner. It is a great place to go to learn how to hire a wedding photographer

Aztec Dancer 3

Aztec Dancers in San Francisco’s Mission District

This past Saturday, I shot the opening celebrations for the Mission Economic Development Agency’s new offices.

Most of the shots were politicians, community activists and bankers giving speeches. But, then after all of the blah blah blah was over, the Aztec Dancers came on!

dancers 1024x682 Best Dancing Photo Ive Ever Taken

Dancers caught in mid motion

This is one of the best photos of dancers I’ve ever taken. They are professional dancers, but the moment was un-posed. As a photographer, I believe firmly in the critical moment, and in this case I am sure I captured it.
