Julianne and Bret got married at the Mormon Temple in Oakland on a rainy day in February.

Weddings at the LDS temple are private. The guests and the photographer (me) wait for the bride and groom to come out. Mormon temples are gorgeous, so we always get a lot of photos in front of and around the temple.

After shooting at the temple, we went to the Oakhurst Country Club in Clayton, where we looked for spots that were covered from the rain but still had nice backgrounds for photos, before moving on to the photojournalistic shots of the reception.

Ayumi and Masahiko, a Japanese American couple, had a lovely wedding at the Dolce Hayes Mansion in San Jose.

I produced a flush mount magazine style album for them.

Here is a black and white photo taken from the streets of San Francisco of a young bride and groom. We are all standing in the middle of the street, just East of Alamo Square Park. The bride and groom are walking uphill towards me. The photos is, as you can see, in black and white.

The dome in the background is San Francisco City Hall.

Janet and Josh in front of the Tea House at the Japanese Tea Garden

Janet and Josh are from Singapore. They got married at San Francisco City Hall. It was an elopement. They had only two guests.

After the ceremony, Janet Josh and I went to The Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park. It is one of my favorite place to shoot couples in the city, as the backgrounds are rich and textured.

This shot was taken on the cliffs of Jenner California, a coastal town north of San Francisco. We were on a cliff above the ocean, the sun was setting, they had just gotten married. What else could you ask for? I love being a wedding photographer.
