Every year to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. children participate in an Oratorical.
Montclair Elementary in Oakland California asked me to take portraits of the participants with their certificates.

ERA, or Equal Rights Advocates, had their 35th annual fund-raising luncheon last week. It was a huge affair. Hundreds of people.
The keynote speaker was blogger and pundit Arianna Huffington.

San Francisco Bay Area photographer
Girls Inc asked me to shoot photos of their 2010 fund raising luncheon this year. I was happy to do so. I have a daughter, and I’m very supportive of the work that Girls Inc does.
The Luncheon was a smashing success. It was in the pavilion at Scott’s Restaurant in Jack London Square. (You can see the background looks like tent material, that’s the pavilion for you.)
