| Amsterdam, Queens Day 2000 |

I had the great fortune of being in Amsterdam on Queens day
in 2000. Queens day is like a cross between July 4th in the
USA and Mardi Gras in Brazil. Imagine over a million Dutch people
crowded into downtown Amsterdam, drinking and dancing all over
the city all day long, and you begin to get the idea. |
